Team Leader
Etobicoke, ON
As the 2nd shift Plant Team Leader based out of our further-processed egg processing facility in Etobicoke, ON, you will develop a deep understanding of production responsibilities and assess and initiate opportunities for improvement. You will create and promote a team-building environment, which promotes customer and stakeholder enthusiasm. Also, you will implement and recognize continuous improvement through ensuring stakeholder involvement in problem solving and decision-making. Additionally, you are responsible for executing safety initiatives and communicating safety awareness by ensuring all HACCP's, GMP's, and SOP's are executed as planned. You will communicate business results and achievement of departmental goals and milestones. Lastly, you will promote stakeholder focus through training and development and be a leader for change, new ideas, and increasing productivity.
Principal Accountabilities:
60% - Development and supervision of direct and indirect reports
20% - Develop strategies for operations of assigned area to include technical optimization of processes
15% - Oversee product quality to ensure total customer satisfaction
5% - Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
