Opportunity

OES has a Full Time opportunity for a highly motivated individual who demonstrates exceptional administrative and organizational skills.  The Engineering Administrator works as part of the Engineering group at OES and provides critical administrative support which ensures that technical documentation and engineering administrative processes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production Departments to execute a variety of administrative tasks and projects
  • Create, update, and maintain internal documents and  templates in the ERP System, including: Work Instructions; Manuals; Job Build Templates; Assembly and Testing Instructions
  • Ensure that current production processes match the Engineering documentation and report any discrepancies to Engineering Manager
  • Receive and respond to Production related inquiries and work with the Engineering team to resolve issues
  • Manage the centralization of all Operations documentation and ensure Production documentation remains current and relevant
  • Coordinate documentation submission and approval through the Internal Document Management System
  • Process prototype requests for the Engineering Team

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach to work
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Post-Secondary education in English, Administration or related field will be considered an asset
  • Ability to read  engineering drawings and designs will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships as well as the ability to communicate with others using sensitivity, diplomacy and professionalism at all times
  • A desire to work in a fast paced, driven and dynamic environment
