Team Leader – Pick & Pack
We are looking for a self-starter to join our Company as a Team Leader for our pick and pick line. The right candidate for this position must be a team player with a “hands on” attitude. You will be required to use your problem solving skills and be able to work with little or no supervision. You must be computer literate with Microsoft programs and confident to quickly learn new software programs.
You will be required to pick orders from printed pick tickets with attention to detail for special packing/pricing instructions. Accuracy of orders being shipped out is of the utmost importance. You will be working and leading other pick and pack associates so this position is very hands on and will be required to do all tasks involved with this department. The ability to see the “big picture” and offer ideas for improvement are also a key skill needed for this position. Experience in a similar role would be an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for 2 – 4 employees
- Oversee the day to day operations of the department
- Monitor the flow of orders – meet specified delivery deadlines requested by customers
- Responsible for double checking accuracy of orders prior to shipping
- Perform courier duties – ability to quickly learn custom shipping software
- Restocking shelves
- Running reports and communicating with the Inventory Buyer to ensure proper stock levels
- Ability to accurately count and maintain proper paperwork
- Travel to trade shows for set up/tear down – this will requier time away from home
- Pack and coordinate product, components etc. for shipping to trade shows for booth set up
- Display and encourage teamwork, maintain positive working relationships with all levels of departments
- When required, assist other departments in performing any requested duties
Must be able to:
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift 35 lbs. – 50 lbs.
- Perform basic math
- Read and comprehend written/verbal instruction
- Walk behind battery pump cart license preferred
