Job Description

ParaMed Home Health is the largest Home Health Care Company in the country! As our business grows, we are in need of a Regional Recruitment Specialist for our London office.  This position will report directly to the Regional Director of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for full cycle recruitment, hiring clinical front line field staff and administrative staff for a geographic area including branches in London, Windsor, Brantford and Simcoe. This is a one year contract based in the London office.
 
 
Description
 
  • The Regional Recruitment Specialist will provide a broad spectrum of recruitment services including attracting, screening, interviewing, referencing and presenting offers to applicants for internal and external job postings;
  • Process requests and record results for criminal background checks
  • Develop creative recruiting sources including schools, community agencies, professional associations or others in each community fostering positive relationships though regular contact and presentations
  • Attract qualified candidates through posting on appropriate websites, job boards
  • Coordinate interviews for supervisors and managers including providing appropriate corporate approved interview tools and other materials including evaluations
  • Coordinate job fairs for in house recruitment and attend off site fairs hosted by schools or community partners as approved by the management team
  • Abide by Recruitment policies according to union collective agreements, company policies and provincial and federal legislation including Employment Standards ACT among others
  • Conduct and coordinate exit interviews for exiting employees
  • Complete required paperwork and correspondence for employee transfers
 
 
 
Qualifications
 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years recruitment experience is required, preference will be given to those with experience in Health Care recruitment
  • Successful completion of post secondary education required, preferably in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of relevant Employment legislation including Employment Standards Act and Human Rights legislation
  • Superior computer skills including experience with MS Word and Excel combined with experience with ATS systems
  • Commitment to cultural diversity in the workplace as it relates to the employment process
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service combined with a sense of urgency in order to meet the needs of the business,  detail oriented, organized
  • Ability to travel to other branches as required outside the city.
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal background check
