We are currently recruiting Temporary Educational Assistants to work within schools in all areas of the Thames Valley District School Board (Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford counties, and the city of London). The successful candidates will be placed on a temporary employee list to perform work in long term assignments and on an “on call” basis. **Applicants must be available to accept assignments on short notice and must be available Monday to Friday during the school year.
Temporary Educational Assistants require a two (2) year Community College Diploma or equivalent with courses relating to the specific assignment. (For example: Developmental Services Worker (preferred). You must attach a copy of your diploma in order to be included in the interview process.
Rate of Pay: $20.26 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
Expiry Date: 2015 August 07
The recruitment process requires a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons and medical screening tests.
