Position: Permanent
Basic Job Description:
-Responsible for creating the Bills of Materials and maintaining existing Bills of Materials in our FRP system.
-Responsible for the accuracy of all Bill of Materials.
-Become proficient in using the Bills of Materials maintenance and inquiry screens and reports.
-Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, VPD, Production, Purchasing, and Warehousing to ensure that the BOM has the correct structure as well as the correct components and quantifies.
-Works with departments to coordinate and update BOM changes as required.
-Audit BOM information for accuracy and completeness, links, routings, type, and quantities.
-Work with warehouse/planning to ensure BOMs plan inventory systems correctly
-Other duties as assigned by Manager
Basic Job Requirements:
-High School Diploma/Degree from College or University
-Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, Excel a focus point-Strong understanding of processes in a manufacturing environment,engineering, planning and supply chain
-Problem solving skills and ability to negotiate, plan across multiple departments
-Filing and record-keeping skills, Ability to input data
-Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated with strong follow up skills
-Strong integrity; capable of upholding confidentiality regarding department and vendor information
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Maintain professional customer relations
-Must be able to read and interpret drawings
-Must possess a good attendance record
-Must possess an excellent quality record
-Must perform computer work
-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision
-Must demonstrate good organizational skills
-Must have demonstrated commitment to the Kaizen process
-Must be a team player
