Full-Time, Permanent, Day Shift - Must have custom programming experience!

Our client is hiring for a permanent, full-time CNC Programmer. The ideal candidate would have CNC Code editing and writing and conventional milling experience. This is a fast-paced environment that is self-motivated and requires a strong independent work ethic while being a part of a larger team environment.

Responsibilities:

• CNC programming on high-speed 5-axis mill - using Gibbs Cam and Visual Basic
• CNC program and tooling validation, control and documentation
• Following engineering drawings and work instructions
• Completing and documenting final inspections

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in Machining or the equivalent experience
• Machinist/Tool & Die License or working toward this preferred
• 3+ Years machining experience (Machine operator does not count toward this)
• Ability to machine parts from engineering drawings
• Capable of CNC Programming using CAD/CAM software – previous Gibbs Cam experience is an asset
• Must be comfortable working in a shop environment
