DESCRIPTION:
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the daily administrative operation of the HR Department and provides a broad range of administrative services in support of the Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Coordinators (HRC).
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in Human Resources, Business or Administration. A minimum of 2 years prior experience in an HR role within an HR department is required. Excellent organizational skills, event coordination skills are essential as are outstanding communication (written and oral) and relationship building skills, tact, diplomacy, strong judgement and problem solving skills. A strict commitment to confidentiality and to providing exemplary customer service is of the utmost importance as are strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Office products (word processing, spreadsheet, databases). Initiative and the ability to work effectively independently or in a team, and excellent attention to detail are also required.
TYPE OF JOB:
Full Time Contract – 1 year (35 hours per week)
EFFECTIVE DATE:
To be determined.
SALARY RANGE:
SSG 9 - $49,031 - $59,736 per annum, based on experience
