Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst: Talentcor is seeking Senior Financial Analyst on a 12 months contract for a leading financial institution in Waterloo, ON
Accountabilities:
-
Provide analysis of key expense trends to support divisional expense reporting
-
Prepare supporting analysis to provide insights required to develop investment expense related assumptions for the annual actuarial reserves setting process
-
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting packages to communicate expense result
-
Prepare monthly expense forecasts to support management decision making
-
Accountable for the monthly expense allocation process for Investment expenses
-
Analysis of allocations across business groups to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of allocations
Requirements:
-
Undergraduate degree in Business/Finance
-
CPA, CA, CGA, CMA designation
-
5+ years of Insurance and/or Financial Services industry
-
Highly developed organizational and time management skills to facilitate prioritizing amongst competing priorities
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Understanding of investments and differing asset classes would be beneficial
-
Ability to work with all levels in the organization
Contract Length: 12 months
