On behalf of our client in the Manufacturing sector, Randstad Engineering is recruiting for an experienced Tooling and Die Designer with 4+ Years of experience. Salary: 65 to 75K + Bonus
Full Benefits Provided after 3 Month Probation

40 Scheduled Hours + OT after 40
Somewhat Flexible Hours

REQUIREMENTS

• Tool and Die Certificate OR Extensive Mechanical Engineering background
• 4+ Years in Die Design for the Automotive Industry
• Proven experience with Siemens NX or PDW (Progressive Die Wizard)
• Experienced in surfacing
• Die design experience: Progressive dies, stage dies, draw dies, and transfer systems
• Experience in designing process layouts (strips)
• Experience working on the shop floor would be ideal but not required
• Auto form simulation experience would be ideal

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, modify and detail a wide range of stamping dies and die components
• Create and maintain the design library along with implanting continuous improvement projects
• Provide FBM (feature based machining) and NXOpen automation streamlining work processes
• Advanced machining and fabrication technologies
• Manufacture parts from drawings for automotive dies as needed
• Involved in rework and maintenance of customer dies as needed
