Our client in
Duties (may include and not limited to)
- Report to the HR manager and Accounting Specialist
- Process Accounts Payable
- Process Accounts Receivable
- Matching invoices to corresponding purchase orders and packing slips
- Code and input vendor invoices
- Enter vendor payments
- Assist with monthly inventory related activities
- Assist with month end and year end activities
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Purchasing of indirect materials
- Data entry and document control
- Assist with special projects as required
- Other general administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum of a College diploma or University degree in Accounting or Business
- At least 1-3 years experience in an accounting role
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Must have experience with Simply Accounting
- Knowledge of purchasing terminology and procedures is an asset
- Advanced communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must work effectively in both a team and independently
Compensation $16/hr
Hours Monday to Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm
