We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and results driven individual to lead our Marketing team who can help us continue to spread the word of who we are and what we do.

The Marketing Director will work with their team, the Production team and the Business Intelligence Team to identify target audiences and user profiles, successfully launch our game titles, establish brand awareness, acquire new players and then engage them to create fans and even promoters.   

With a track record of proven success, the Marketing Director will use their in-depth industry experience, to set effective goals for their department that will ensure their initiatives return on the investment of the team’s efforts and resources.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable using data to inform their decisions while still understanding the importance of the brand and how to properly build and maintain one.

In this position these are the things you will be responsible for:

  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate talent for all marketing disciplines; providing guidance for their individual professional development in order to maintain an effective marketing team structure.
  • Identifying the overall strategy for each brand as well for each channel of communication.
  • Developing marketing plans and campaigns that are designed to achieve specific results and have a way to measure them.
  • Directing the development of multiple brands at various stages in the brand lifecycle, including new launches and rebranding.
  • Working with Production and Business Intelligence teams to establish brand awareness to help retain and acquire new users. 
  • Providing direction on production of marketing assets across traditional and nontraditional mediums, including but not limited to print, video, web, and social. 
  • Accurately interpret statistics, analytics, and demographical information and actually use it to effectively position brands and set targets. 
  • All public relations, including the development and maintenance of our corporate image.
  • Overseeing the engagement of our existing users, social followers, and game reviewers. 
  • Evaluating and directing corporate events and appearances.

To be an effective team member, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in: marketing, digital media, communications, design, public relations, or journalism.
  • 4 years of agency or client-side marketing experience preferably within the mobile app or gaming industries.
  • An understanding of analytics, metrics, and the use of data to guide marketing initiatives.
  • A real respect for ROI and the ability to justify all costs and efforts.
  • A deep understanding of branding and how to successfully build and maintain one.
  • An undying love for project management, documentation and organization.
  • A thorough enough knowledge of design principles and effective communication to provide creative direction and review creative assets for effectiveness and accuracy.

You also have the following attributes and skills:

  • The ability to work with everyone, from programmers to artists to musicians.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • A passion for gaming and can talk about what makes a game good, and what players want to see in a F2P and console experience.
