Labatt Breweries of Canada is seeking a Supervisor(Group Manager) for our Packaging Department at the London Brewery, Ontario.
 

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of unionized employees to optimize production efficiency
• Meet target objectives in our packaging departments
• Schedule manpower for corresponding shifts
• Enforcing critical aspects of safety and quality involved in bottling, canning, and kegging beer operations; Execution of health and safety programs
• Professionally manage the relationship with union members
• Manages department resources and track via SAP
• Professionally manages the relationship with union members
• training and coaching where required

Education

University Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent Diploma

Qualifications

• 1- 3 years experience as a supervisor in a unionized production department
• Must have basic mechanical aptitude or knowledge of packaging equipment
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel & Powerpoint
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (Morning, Afternoons, and Nights)
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
