The Role
As an EPA at Bellamere, your primary responsibility is to help us ensure our weddings and events go off without a hitch! This means you:
- Support the Event Preparation Supervisor and Front of House team with the setup of all areas for events, including dining rooms, cocktail spaces, bars and Back of House
- Set up of tables, chairs, ceremonies, buffets and décor according to Bellamere standards and guest expectations including linens, china, cutlery and glassware
- Moving tables, chairs and décor as required
- Following set up instructions with a high attention to detail
- Work according to all of Bellamere’s health and safety standards
- Support with other duties as may be required
What you bring to the table
- Availability to work mid-week, weekends, evenings and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from Bellamere
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to safely move and lift items up to 50 lbs
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently, taking direction and capable of following instructions
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all staff
- Able to work in a predominately standing position for long periods of time
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes following Bellamere’s uniform policies
- Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is a bonus, but not required!
