Back Up Quality Auditor
It is our great pleasure to be involved in the recruitment process for our client in
SRG (Stevens Resource Group) is an award winning staffing firm recognized for professionalism, quality placements, unique approach and business savvy. Since 1990 SRG has provided expertise in the services of temporary & contract staffing, direct hire, professional search, and consulting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Reporting to the Quality Auditor
- Identify, quantify, assess, evaluate and ensure proper tagging of all materials used in production
- Also operating spot/nut welding equipment and performing 1st & last offs
- Check and ensure parts meet correct dimensions and comply with quality specification
and Proper tagging of all finished goods .(IE : Ok to ship, bar code and WIP)
- Perform both destructive tests and non destructive tests on all parts and assemblies
- Train and update personnel to perform quality checks and do SPC recording
- Evaluate control charts and react to all out of control conditions
- Works with Production Supervisor, and associates in performing audits and support functions. Enacts in-process rejection procedures when defective material is encountered. Documents the corrective action required.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants will need to have:
- 1 yrs related experience and/or training
- As a minimum, high school diploma or GED
- Good communication and reasoning capabilities
- Good Mathematical skills
This is a temporary ongoing position with very good prospects for ful time hire.
Must be able to work rotating shifts (days with afternoons biweekly)
Wage: $12/hr and will increase after probationary period
