Job Description
On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a full time, one year contract basis.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Hours: Monday to Friday; 8:30am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Maintain the accounting and administration for all accounts payable and related functions
- Perform accounts payable duties including account coding, payment authorization, monthly and daily cheque runs
- Verify received purchase orders with vendor invoices for accuracy
- Present inquiries and/or complaints
- Assist in any special projects at the discretion of the Controller
- Assist as back up for reception in his/her absence
- Completion of a College Diploma or University Degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years of related experience and/or training
- Strong skills in work planning, scheduling and interpersonal relations
- Intermediate to Advanced level computer skills, including MS Excel and Accounting Software experience; Great Plains and/or Vantage preferred
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures
