Responsibilities
The right pharmacy technician candidate will continuously contribute to the development and improvement of working relationships between the pharmacy and the facility – thereby enhancing our corporate reputation for the highest level of safety and service in the industry.
- At least five (5) years experience in retail pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of Kroll absolutely required
- Experience working in long-term care pharmacy is preferred
- Knowledge of PCC and PacMed are assets
- Outstanding phone communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Sharp analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Actively listening to concerns from long-term care facilities' staff
- Taking effective action to resolve matters
- Working effectively with an operations team dedicated to the highest quality of customer service
- Managing work flows in the pharmacy area
- Maintaining patient confidentiality consistent with current standards in health care
- Completing quality checks for accuracy within the dispensing process
- Understanding and ensuring the proper storage of pharmaceuticals and drug products
