DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation and maintenance of the plant quality system in accordance with the Corporate Quality Assurance standards
Coordinate Customer / ZF TRW changes (MPCRs, IAAs, SREAs, etc.)
Serve as Quality Representative for Product Launch / APQP
Conduct continuous improvement activities and workshops
Lead cost saving initiatives
Coordinate Customer PPAPs and all required documentation
Implement the supplier quality assurance initiatives and directly contact supplier to establish detailed improvements based on individual performance (Lead QIP initiatives)
Monitor Customer Quality Metrics and Address Quality Concerns (Internal & External)
Lead Corrective Action activities to address Quality Concerns (Internal & External)
Address / Investigate Customer Warranty Concerns / Returns
Ensure Product / Process Compliance to Customer Requirements
Customer Liaison at Assembly Plants
Monitor and ensure TS16949 & ISO14001 internal audits scheduled and complete
Documentation control, including Gauge Talker, Gauge calibration, and Layered Process Audits
Monitor and update Corporate and Customer website
Attend/Participate in all required meetings, internal and external. E.g., BUR, NCT, etc.
Meet all required metrics/targets. E.g., NCT, Scrap/Sort, PMA, etc.
Supervise/Train/Direct QA Tech(s) and other manpower as needed
Travel as required
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
College diplomas in Quality Assurance and / or Engineering with additional training in Statistical Analysis
CQE preferred
3-5 years in quality and/or engineering related field
