Job Description

As a Product & Industry Specialist you are a member of the Product team responsible for assisting clients and partners in achieving their strategic vision through a successful technology solution implementation and continuing product education services.  We provide deep product subject matter expertise, executing on our engagements with the highest degree of quality and client satisfaction.

What we’d like you to do:

  • New client onboarding including platform access/set-up including custom configurations and user training
  • Monitor “account health” of existing clients, acting as a communication touch-point with the Account Manager to drive client satisfaction
  • Conduct training during new employee onboarding, setting up their accounts and modules and conducting further training or re-training as necessary
  • Conduct client training on best practices for platform use
  • Manage the trial process and implementation for prospective clients and/or partners
  • Perform in-depth needs analysis, investigation assistance, and create reports as part of managed services
  • Working closely with Product, Sales, Account Management and Development teams to ensure a high degree of client engagement and satisfaction
  • Provide pre-sales support
  • Liaise with target clientele and speak at tradeshows, conferences and other events
  • Work with Product team to conduct client/vendor briefings, web surveys, and end-user interviews to collect primary market intelligence and build market credibility
  • Contribute to short- and long-form papers, videos, speeches, webinars, eBooks at an accelerated pace that both creates and satisfies market demand
  • Actively collaborate with Media Sonar teams – Product, Sales, Support, Marketing, and Operations – to establish research/documentation/collateral to support new and ongoing initiatives including new product features
  • Maintain a high level of expertise and currency in line-of-business functions, following social media/technology changes and industry trends
  • Assist in building long-term relationships with industry/research/academic organizations and end-users
  • Other duties as required

You should be someone who has/is:

  • Knowledge and background in law enforcement essential
  • Some knowledge of the social media and technology spaces
  • Commitment and demonstrated dedication to uncompromised customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport and communicate with various internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, retain flexibility and maintain composure under pressure
  • Effective training and/or public speaking skills in a classroom/audience environment
  • Ability and experience with adult learning an asset
  • Energy, creativity and strong problem-solving skills
  • Due to the nature of our industry, you may be asked to submit to a police background check and associated confidentiality agreement
  • Some travel required for on-site training, demonstrations or professional services engagements may be required (up to 10%)
