Job Description
Our manufacturing client in the London area is seeking a Program Launch Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will manage and coordinate the product launch process and work with internal and external teams to ensure timely launch of new products.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate product launch activity utilizing the APQP process from new business through start of production, and works directly with Sales, Corporate Product & Process Engineering team (RPPC), Value Stream Teams, suppliers, and the customer.
- Manage cross-functional product launch team to ensure timely completion of tasks, projects, and communication.
- Manage internal and external deadlines to meet customer deliverables.
- Maintain communication with all internal and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to, customers, suppliers, purchasing, sales and corporate Program Management.
- Consider health, safety, and environmental factors when coordinating new processes.
- Champions diversity and inclusion in line with Company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- At minimum, College Diploma in an Engineering Discipline, or equivalent experience. Must have three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Education and/or experience in Program Management, APQP, and PPAP. Automotive experience preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project, or other project management application.
- Lean Manufacturing training or experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment a plus.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Work well under pressure.
- Ability to hold self and others accountable.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
