SLEEGERS Engineered Products Inc. (sleegers.ca) is a London based, rapidly expanding North American supplier of engineered solutions for the pressure vessel and propane industries. SLEEGERS has over 50 years of experience providing outstanding service and exceptional quality. With three facilities in London, ON, we design and produce a wide scope of engineered solutions. Our work ranges from the design and production of bulk propane tanks to large-scale water purification systems.

Consistent with our continued growth, we are recruiting a highly motivated, practical, and technically knowledgeable Production Improvement Specialist to join forces with our production support team to assist with our our continuous improvement efforts. In this self-starter role, the successful candidate must have a critical and innovative mindset and a hands-on attitude.


Key Responsibilities?
  • Lead the process improvement efforts for the company’s various production systems, focusing initially on the automated cylinder exchange kiosk to enhance customer value and improve efficiency and productivity
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment to develop and optimize production process
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of production processes, including layout drawings, procedures, and flow charts
  • Assist with the planning and sourcing of parts for equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Manage small to mid-size projects with limited supervision
  • Engage and oversee third party resources as required

Education & Experience
  • College diploma or undergraduate degree in engineering
  • Demonstrated project management and change management skills
  • Experience in 2D drafting and 3D modelling, preferably in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Solid software skills in MS Office 2010
  • Certificate and/or experience in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies is an asset
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety is an asset
