Job Summary
Our busy fast-paced office currently has an opportunity for a professional and experienced individual to fill the role of IT Technician. In this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software, PDAs, accounting software and computer data network within the office building and remote locations. The IT Technician will also be the main point of contact for employees who are experiencing computer issues. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an established organization that is experiencing significant growth.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
  • Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel.
  • Verify functionality of hardware and software components.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone.
  • Assist employees with computer problems and answer their questions.
  • Conduct daily network backup operations.
  • Assist billing department with invoices and sheet issues.
  • configure routers, WiFi, scan to email printers.
  • Manage Office365 and Cloud Domain Controller environment
  • Prepare & Configure PDAs & Smartphones.
  • Be able to take any extra tasks that are related to Information Technology and help other departments within the company such as CSR, Billing, and HR department.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
  • 2+ years’ experience on current network operating systems
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations & environment.
  • Understanding of IT principles, VPN, IP Addresses, DNS, Routing & Security protocols, and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel formulas & sheets, Teams and OneDrive environment.
  • Experience with JumpCloud Environment is an asset
  • Experience with TimeTrex is an asset
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required.
  • Multi-tasking, Self-motivated, work independently or as part of a team required.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, research solutions and share knowledge.
  • Must have the IT mindset when working on a task, issue, or project.
