Job Description
Brown Beattie O’Donovan is a well-established London based law firm seeking to hire a full-time law clerk in our corporate/commercial, wills and estates and real estate department.

The successful candidate will have:
- A graduate of a recognized college Law Clerk or Legal Assistant program
- A minimum of 3 years experience
- Willingness to learn and ability to adapt quickly
- Attention to detail and knowledge of office procedures
- Strong communication skills: oral and written
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience using Fast Company, Estate-a-Base, Conveyancer, Teraview and practice management software would be an asset.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting of corporate articles, minutes and resolutions and maintenance of corporate records and registers
- Drafting corporate/commercial agreements and related documentation
- Drafting wills, powers of attorney, and related documents
- Preparing applications for certificates of appointment of estate trustee and handling general administration of estates
- Preparing documentation and handling all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions
- Preparing final reports and client invoices
- Perform miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as required
