Job Description
Our client, a well-known transportation company, is currently looking for a Full-time Customer Service Representative (Transportation) – DAY SHIFT for their Woodstock location. This is a great position to work with a close-knit team, and to grow from within.
What We Offer:
- $20.00 an hour.
- Work week is Monday to Friday.
- Day shift 8:30 am to 4:30 pm/Afternoon shift 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
- Weekly pay via direct deposit.
What You Are Doing:
- Communicate directly with clients, customers, and drivers regarding shipment discrepancies.
- Administer all claims regarding OS&D (Over, Short & Damaged) freight.
- Arrange shipments to and from clients according to best practices.
- Verification of manifests, BOL's, POD's, RMA's.
- Other duties as required.
Who You Are:
- Prior Administrative experience in Logistics/Transportation (OS&D-specific).
- Strong communication ability - both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and excellent data entry/computer skills.
- Top notch customer service abilities.
- Resourceful and able to "think on your feet".
- Able to work under pressure and successfully multi-task.
- Experience with Truckmate and/or AS400 would be considered an asset.
- Able to provide a clear criminal check.
