Job Description
Dishwasher - Part-Time
Position Summary: Responsible for the cleaning of dishes and cutlery used in the Sisters Dining Room & staff room. Maintains the sanitary condition of the dishwashing area.
Ensures that all health and safety standards are met and continually reinforced. All equipment is maintained in good, safe working order. Works in a safe manner and promotes the safety of all co-workers, Sisters and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the efficient cleaning of the dishes and cutlery.

All washing is performed according to specifications.

Take food cart to other dining rooms.

Wash pots and dishes in main kitchen, assist cooks when needed.

Maintains the sanitary condition of the equipment and the working area.. Equipment is cleaned daily. Floors are kept clean at all times.

Put away and rotate stock when delivered by suppliers.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Formal Education: Minimum requirement grade 12. Food handler certificate.
Training & Experience: Preference for related experience. Must be able to function with minimal supervision.
Skills required: Interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements: Continual standing. Repetitive tasks. Lifting.
Working Conditions: A uniform or equivalent is required at all times. Shoes must have a rubber sole and hair must be fastened back. Must be able and willing to work all shifts
