Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, ON, are currently seeking a Payroll and Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a full time position with the possibility of benefits.

Duties (may include and not limited to)

Payroll Duties

Process payroll on a weekly basis
Review and enter all timesheets, entering adjustments as requested
Balance to ensure accuracy of entries
Entry of statutory holiday pay and create related reports
Send out weekly invoices via email and mail

Accounts Payable Duties

Receive and review all incoming invoices and obtain approval for payment
Enter invoice into AccPac accounting system
Review and process payment for all credit cards
Complete all government remittances monthly
Review and enter all general expense reports once approval is obtained
Review cash flow to ensure sufficient funds
Other general administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting or payroll position required
Must be comfortable working with the MS Office Suite; particularly with Excel
Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical aptitude required
Experience with AccPac software preferred
Ability to perform duties accurately with a level of precision while maintaining a steady workflow

Compensation: $14.00-15.00/Hr

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
