Job Description
Thorne Property Management Ltd. provides management services for a range of 75+ townhome and apartment condominium properties, and carries out the day to day management of the corporations under the supervision and direction of the Board of Directors for each property.
Thorne Property is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as a Full Time Accountant.
The Accountant with be responsible for the following:
Bank reconciliation
Process and edit financial statements
Prepare and create budgets
Support accounting department and property managers
Type correspondence, reports and other such documents as required
Maintain accounting files
Maintain confidential records and files
We are searching for an organized, dedicated, and customer-service oriented individual. The successful candidate will be conscientious, respectful, and have the following skills and qualifications:
Accounting Designation, CPA/CMA/CGA (candidate accepted)
Minimum 3 years experience in the accounting field
Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new programs
Knowledgeable of database management, strong data entry skills
Proven accuracy, attention to detail with the ability to multitask
Operate under pressure while meeting deadlines
Diplomatic, professional, and sensitive to clients’ diverse needs
Adaptable, willing to learn and be a part of a team
Assets:
Knowledge of the Condominium Act
Experience in Property Management
