Position Details:

As a Business Development Sales Professional, you will be responsible for selling American Express Business Cards to
small and medium-sized businesses across Canada. Your role is to understand business needs and
promote the most appropriate and beneficial card product to the business owner using a consultative sales
skills approach via the telephone.

· Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. No rotating shifts, business hours only.
· Compensation includes guaranteed base rate and very competitive bonus program. Bonus incentive program based
on your business results with unlimited potential. Many top Sales Professionals will earn upwards of $60,000 or more as result of our
uncapped bonus.

Your Key Skills and Competencies:

· 1-2 years of direct sales experience and success – call centre experience an asset
· Enthusiasm and high level of personal motivation
· Highschool Diploma is required
· Criminal Check is required
· Ability to work effectively with a team
· Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
· Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written format
· Proficient computer/keyboarding skills(Windows based environment)
· An ability to work and succeed in a fast paced environment
· Strong conversation skills and ability to relate to others and build rapport
· Professional and courteous telephone etiquette
· Ability to probe with customers, objection handle and close a sale
· Listening and persuasion skills
· Calm under pressure and confident in your abilities
· Self learner with ability to apply information and adapt to changes
· University/College graduate or a combination of relevant and successful work experience
