The ideal candidate has the capability to assist with hardware design having knowledge in both embedded Software and Hardware design.  The person must be flexible enough to work in a fluid and dynamic environment, working with a variety of skill levels and personalities. Participate in a dynamic team developing and integrating remote monitoring and telematics solutions! Primary responsibilities and accountabilities include firmware development and system configuration, along with some electrical design and support of system solutions.
 

Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:
 

• A minimum of 4 years of programming experience in Embedded Systems Design, Real-Time OS, C/C++ , C#, and Serial Communications; Embedded Hardware: Modems, CPUs, and Flash Memory; Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded, Linux
• Experience in the design of Embedded Systems testing and validation
• Device Driver concepts; Firmware Development
• ASP Web Applications
• SQL, UML, Ethernet, USB, RS-232, RS485, Routing VPN, CAN-J1939, Pforfinet, UDP, TCP/IP, PPP
• Dynamic C
• TCP/IP, PPP
• Technologist Diploma, Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or Computer Programmer Analyst
