The Industrial Cook position works under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor and performs a variety of tasks to support the manufacturing process. Resolves issues with supervision and other employees from the simplest to most complex. This position seeks assistance from higher levels when problems are encountered.

Responsibilities:

Ø  Follow product formula with attention to detailed instructions

Ø  Ensures that good manufacturing practices/sanitation procedures are followed in the preparation of products and cleaning of equipment and work areas

Ø  Works with Cooks Helper, Weigh-up staff, Filler Operators, QA and Maintenance staff to ensure effective production standards are met

Ø  Other task and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Ø  Must have Grade 12 Diploma or GED

Ø  Own transportation as public transportation is not available

Ø  Ability to work any schedule and overtime as requested

Ø  Ability to read and interpret product formulas

Ø  Demonstrated consistent, responsible and mature attitude/behavior towards the importance of producing quality product
