Diagnostics Engineering
Our client, a large defense manufacturer in LONDON, ONTARIO is looking a Diagnostics Engineering team members
Required Qualifications
• University Degree or 3 year College diploma in an Electrical and/or Mechanical technical discipline
• Experience in the operation, maintenance, and integration of vehicle components and systems
• Demonstrate a high level of oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with application of MS Office software
• Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
Job Responsibilities
• Perform the following functions:
o Document the physical breakdown of the vehicle, assembly and/or subsystem(s) in accordance with applicable military standards and approved customer maintenance concept
o Plan and track progress of assigned activities
• Support and/or potentially perform the following functions;
o Analyze vehicle system function and failure modes, assessing the impact to performance and safety
o Identify and recommend specials tools and test equipment
o Assist with aftermarket support requests. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in estimating effort required for new projects
• Proactively support and communicate with other Engineering teams and departments
• Prepare and present deliverables at customer conferences and meetings
Preferred Qualifications
• Candidates who are registered with PEO or are actively pursuing their P.Eng designation would be
preferred, but not required.
• Previous military experience
• Experience performing maintenance on vehicles and/or heavy equipment
• Knowledge and/or experience in the application of relevant military standards and doctrine
• Experience preparing for and attending customer meetings
