Project Manager – Manufacturing - Woodstock
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager the Project Manager will assist in all aspects of the facility and manufacturing process. The successful applicant with be coordinating the manufacturing of custom manufactured components and fabrications between internal resources and external subcontract suppliers, based on: technical competency, cost effectiveness, quality, and delivery capacity in order to deliver high quality machined parts.

Manufacturing Support
• Develops, establishes, and maintains quality compliant external subcontractor supply chain for machine, tooling, fabrication and welding shops
• Assesses and evaluates medium and near long-term in house manufacturing capacity and loading
• Receives drawing packages released for manufacture and (in conjunction with Manufacturing Manager, and/or Project Manager) divides drawing package work between in-house and outside subcontractors
• Assess and monitor active project schedules with regards to custom manufactured components, and (in conjunction with Manufacturing Manager and/or Project Manager) initiates subcontract manufacturing expediting if schedule is deemed at risk
• Prepares and issues compliant RFQs for subcontracted manufacturing services
• Evaluates Bids and prepares recommendations for award of contract

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
• Extensive machine shop experience
• Supervisory and “hands on” experience in producing precision prototype tooling and short runs using CNC Machines and manual set ups
•Strong capital expenditure experience
• Knowledge of standard metal processing and finishing techniques
