Job Description

Media Sonar is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing and Content Specialist who will develop quality content and automate marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels to help generate high quality leads, nurture relationships, create segmented customer journeys, and organize data.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously. In addition, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to design, build and deploy digital assets (landing pages, website updates, and email campaigns) will be critical for success in this role.

What we’d like you to do:

  • Collaborate with peers and multiple stakeholder groups on the development and execution of targeted digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with program objectives, product strategies, brand positioning, CRM best practices, and budgets
  • Deliver clear, persuasive copy for a variety of audiences via blog posts, case studies, websites, sales aids, emails, landing pages, social media content and other digital channels
  • Develop inbound marketing campaigns and lead nurture strategies throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize sales
  • Test, track and report on the performance of email and digital campaigns
  • Manage, execute and optimize all digital marketing campaigns, improve paid campaigns metrics (CTR, CPC, conversion rate, social engagement rate) and increase conversions from paid channels.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market plans and support product launch programs using digital marketing
  • Implement A/B testing initiatives in key areas such as ad creative, lead-gen forms and landing page messaging and layout
  • Perform keyword research, bid optimization, ad copy development and apply SEO best practices
  • Develop tracking and reporting of ROI on all marketing activities/campaigns.
  • Optimize conversion rates to increase channel effectiveness, including analyzing digital metrics through the use of tools such as Google Analytics
  • Applying email and digital marketing best practices to determine new opportunities that will improve the customer experience.

You should be someone who has/is:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field of study
  • 3-5+ years of related experience in digital marketing in a B2B, high-tech products/services environment.
  • Hands-on, technical experience with WordPress, HTML emails, marketing automation, Facebook and Google ads and retargeting display ads.
  • Mastery of website analytics tools including Google Analytics
  • Google Adwords and Google Analytics certifications
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is required
  • Proficiency in SEO and keyword research, content management software and social platforms with a basic understanding of HTML
  • An impeccable communication style - you have demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present in a compelling and concise manner.
  • Strong research, writing, editing and proofing skills.
  • Experienced project management skills, including managing internal stakeholders, external agencies and multiple campaigns and projects at once
  • Accuracy, thoroughness in completing tasks, and strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm, passion, and being a team player is a must
