Is recruiting for a Bakery Machine Operator for our client Dr. Oetker
Your goals:
- Perform H&S pre-operational
- Perform HACCP checks and document results in the dough preparation.
- Check and document raw material inventory and usage. Ensuring products are being produced according to recipes and specifications.
- Responsible for maintaining dough preparation and proofing, ensuring proper and safe functionality of the equipment.
- Assemble, start, operate, supervise, adjust, and troubleshoot industrial type equipment.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining raw materials.
- Will be part of the team that produces highest quality Dr. Oetker products. Food safety and security is of the utmost importance to Dr. Oetker and to you.
- Consistently follow all Dr. Oetker Health & Safety policies and procedures, setting a positive example while exercising care within your work to prevent injuries to yourself and to your co-workers.
Your strengths:
- Must be either an experienced commercial baker or currently an Apprentice baker.
- Preferably experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with 3 - 5 years or more of experience operating industrial scale equipment, such as dosing, mixing and proofing equipment and ovens.
- Must have 1 year or more of experience in operating hand pallet trucks, pedestrian high lift pallet trucks, a certificate or license would be an asset.
- Must read, write and speak English fluently and have experience with document use, numeracy, and verbal communication.
- Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Must have your own transportation as public transportation is not available.
