Job Description
Warehouse Workers – St. Thomas
Express Employment Professionals are currently recruiting for a pool of temporary workers available to work on-call / casual assignments with various St. Thomas area clients. Ideal candidates would not be working full-time elsewhere and be open casual work in a temporary setting.
Duties may include but not limited to
- General warehouse or labour work indoors or outdoors
- Loading or unloading containers
- Building shelves, putting together furniture
- Factory work, machine loading or unloading and quality inspection
- Previous labour experience required for assignments requiring consistent heavy lifting
- Ability to lift between 30 to 50 pounds consistently is required
- Steel Toed Boots – CSA Certified
- Reliable transportation – Some positions accessible without own transportation!
- Availability for immediate assignments with minimal notice an asset
- Casual / On-Call Day Shifts
- Some positions could be long days
Overtime after 44 hours worked weekly
Wage ranges between $11.25 - $12.00 per Hour + 4% Vacation Paid through Express Weekly
