About Us:
Epilepsy Support Centre is located in London, Ontario and was incorporated in 1983.  Our mission is to enhance the lives of people who are affected by epilepsy and seizure disorders by providing a network of services that educate, support, and build community awareness.  Our vision is a community free of barriers where all persons affected by epilepsy and seizure disorders are empowered and supported to live a life of dignity, self-worth, and hope.
 
The Position:
We are seeking a dynamic individual with demonstrated organizational management skills to lead this grassroots, community based organization.  You will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational planning, human resources, program management, financial and risk management, and fund development of the organization.  The successful candidate will advance the goals and objectives set out by the Broad of Directors in their strategic plan.  You will have proven management experience in the non-profit sector and value diversity and inclusion.  You will manage and mentor a motivated staff of five people who provide support services and education outreach to six counties and over 1000 registered families.
 
Qualifications:

• Formal education from an accredited university or college in a health, social services, business or not for -profit management.
• Demonstrated organizational leadership with a minimum 5 years experience in an Executive Leadership position preferably in a not for profit environment
