                                                                                 MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
 
SALARY RANGE: $79,140 - $104,660
HIRING RANGE: $79,140 - $101,009
DATE OF VACANCY: As soon as possible

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Senior Supervisor, the Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership to the maintenance staff, directing work and ensuring proper planning, installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs to all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems and associated equipment, components and related processes at all TVDSB facilities. The Maintenance Supervisor also ensures a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students, staff and the community while complying with all government regulations to protect against injury, facility damage and school day losses.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Completion of three (3) year degree or diploma in engineering technology or building operations, or completion of a two (2) year diploma combined with a valid recognized licenced trade certification. A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated supervisory experience and abilities in maintenance management or facility services, including a minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising staff or leading work teams preferably in a unionized environment or successful completion of a minimum 12-month TVDSB Maintenance Supervisor Acting Assignment. The position requires frequent use of the employee’s personal vehicle for travel to Board sites. All applicable travel is reimbursed according to board policy and procedures using the Board’s posted mileage rate.
