Sales and Marketing Advisor (Health Care)

WILL Employment Solutions is looking to add a valuable job development and network-building individual to our team. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Sales & Marketing Advisor connects job seekers with employers. The successful candidate would use the extensive resources, networks and services that WILL and partner programs offer to create, uncover and identify meaningful employment opportunities in order to connect clients and employers for successful and sustainable employment outcomes in the health care sector. 

WHO ARE YOU? 
  • 2-3 years experience in a related role.
  • Familiarity with standard employment legislation is an asset.
  • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
  • Experience presenting material to a group.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to speak Arabic is an asset to complement the second languages already represented on the Sales and Marketing Team and meet client needs.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Cross-cultural competency with an ability to interact and work effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information.

  • Actively job develop in support of meaningful employment outcomes for job ready clients of WILL Employment Solutions and all of its projects including WILL Work, WILL Access and WILL Immploy with focus on the health care sector.
  • Outreach to employers from the healthcare sector that are in alignment with the job seeking client pool.
  • Generate opportunities to connect job seekers with employers using one of the many programs and services offered at WILL
  • Proactively endorse job seeker applications to employment opportunities in the region
  • Maintain positive, ongoing relationships with employers and clients to further employment outcomes
  • Effectively capture and maintain all SAM related activities in the internal database system
  • Regularly achieve all assigned activity, output and employment targets
  • Regularly conduct scheduled follow-ups with job seekers and employers
  • Connect with job seekers to arrange and schedule employer interview requests
  • Coach job seekers on employment related questions, and refer to other internal WILL resources or program supports, as needed
  • Actively promote unfilled job opportunities through community outreach and job fairs
  • Host and lead initiatives and events to bring employers and job seekers together
  • Actively promote and refer employers to all organizational initiatives that strengthen employer and workplace practices to attract, hire, recruit and retain immigrants
  • Stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills including verbal, written and virtual 
  • Conduct follow-ups with clients and gather responses for internal data base
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all services and programs offered by WILL and effectively communicate promote them to clients and potential clients
  • Intentionally and strategically collaborate across WILL programs to support the achievement of the WILL mission and goals
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
