Clinical Lead
Family Service Thames Valley is thrilled to recruit a seasoned and highly skilled individual for the role of Clinical Lead to provide the clinical stewardship, supervision, and planning for the Employee Assistance Program and Community Counselling Program. This position will help ensure Family Service Thames Valley continues their brand of clinical excellence and the very best quality of care to the diverse range of clients we serve.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready for the challenge of encouraging and helping
staff develop and grow professionally; seek new funding sources; and work collegially within a strong clinical team.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Master’s degree in social work/counselling/psychotherapy/couple and family therapy/psychology
- Professional registration in a relevant College (CRPO, OCSWSSW, CPO); preferable: accreditation as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor
- A minimum of 5 years clinical and relevant supervisory experience
- Excellent knowledge of College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and Social Work Standards of Practice
- Relevant experience with Employee Assistance Program practices
- Proven excellence in clinical counselling that includes experience supporting a broad range of client groups and issues across the life span; strong background in systems thinking
- Capacity to recognize and challenge illegal, unethical, unprofessional or discriminatory practices
- Experience with program management that includes the development, maintenance and evaluation of programs
- Knowledge of administrative practices in social service agencies, specifically related to program management
- Strong leadership skills: background in team leadership and development
