Description of Responsibilities

I. Computer Support

• To provide technical assistance to employees.
• To provide maintenance on computer devices when necessary.
• To answer all employees' questions concerning computers.
• Assist the national Technical Support team fixing issues

II. Warehouse Support

• To program, and repair hand held radio-frequency terminals used by warehouse employees.
• To provide support for those who have trouble logging onto their hand held terminals.
• Maintain computer terminals and attached parallels.
• To run production order batches when requested by customer service.

III. Printers and Fax Machine Maintenance

• To troubleshoot printers when there is a problem.
• To place service calls if the problem cannot be resolved.
• To ensure that the printing areas are stocked with paper and all other necessary supplies.
• To order printing supplies as needed.

IV. General

• Backup Customer Systems Specialist position.
• Backup Computer Operators position.
• Work within our ERP system to ensure that customer orders are being received and processed.
• EDI clerical work.
• Document all tasks preformed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French
• Post secondary College, or University education of a computer related field
• 2 years' experience in a similar Information Technology support role
• Microsoft Certification, is an asset
• Background in Host level hardware, and ERP applications is an asset
