Our manufacturing client is a leading ventilation company that focuses on energy efficiencies and green technologies. They are looking for a self-motivated intermediate/senior Mechanical Engineer with HVAC experience to join their team.

Job Description:

• Work with the design and application of new products and provide support to existing products
• Design quality Semi Custom AHU equipment and provide engineering deliverables such as calculations and reports
• Work with sales team in product application and support
• Provide support on products including development and application of products that can be applied to various market applications
• Develop solutions to problems and manage supporting documentation
• Perform research and development for future energy efficient technologies

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering or Technologist degree
• 3-5 years’ experience related to HVAC design in the Air Handling Unit market
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, fan selection, coil design, thermodynamics and technical product requirements of the North American Air Handling Unit market
• Strong understanding of safety and performance codes; CSA, UL, ASHRAE, and AHRI
• Ability to work in a team and a self-starter
• Excellent oral and written communication
