Position Details

The Hotel Specialist position is responsible for successfully planning, coordinating and executing hotel room block agreements with hotels and ensuring that minimum revenue targets are met.

Hotel Contract Manager

• Job Description:

  • Direct phone and email communication with/support of NSOs, CVBs and Hotel Sales Representatives

  • Preparing RFPs based on data analysis, partner requirements and strategies

  • Drafting and reviewing of contracts

  • Negotiating concessions to meet minimum revenue targets per room night

  • Negotiation of best available rates

  • Loading of contract data into RoomRoster software

  • Maintaining the integrity of software data

• Requirements:

  • A university or college graduate

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a hotel sales environment

  • Knowledge of the hotel industry and brand standards

  • Intimate knowledge of contracts

  • Proven ability to manage on-time task fulfillment

  • Ability to manage hotel, NSO and CVB relationships

  • Negotiation skills to meet minimum revenue targets on room nights

  • Effective planning and analysis skills

  • Ability to analyze/manage inventory levels and adjust as needed
