Job Description
Job Title: Truck Assembler/ Welder Fitter
Job Location: Aylmer
Pay Rate/Range: tbd
Shift Time(s): Straight Days
Job Duties:
- Read diagrams/ drawings.
- Consult electrical diagrams, plan, and other technical diagrams.
- Assemble, adjust, and install prefabricated parts to form sub assemblies or finished products.
- Ensure parts fit and align properly.
- Operate overhead crane.
- Assemble electrical and electronic components and wiring to connect equipment and accessories.
- Respect quality criteria and safety standards in the execution of all tasks followed by proper paperwork
- Ensure regular maintenance of your workstation is completed.
- Support the other truck assemblers on your team
Required experience, skills, certifications:
- Certificate in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in a welder fitter role
- Experience mounting electrical/ electronic accessories.
- Able to use and understand precision and power tools.
- Understand mechanical drawings.
- Can lift up to 25kg.
- Experience operating overhead crane an asset.
