| TLC Landscaping is growing! We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic person to join our Enhancements team as an Estimator. Job Summary: • Assist and prepare quotes for condo clients • Measure and take required elevations of sites • Collaborate with Landscape Designer and Production manager on quotes and projects • On average 40-50 hrs per week Code of Conduct: • Accountable: complete assigned tasks and strive to reach goals with care, diligence and meeting deadlines • Trust, Honesty, Respect: be respectful of others, and this includes keeping commitments i.e. being on time and being prepared for work and expect the same in return from managers and co-workers. • Dress and behave accordingly: how we look, perform and behave has a profound effect on our clients’ confidence in us. If we are to be the best we must look the best as well. • Responsible: follow the policies and procedures in TLC’s employee Manual i.e. Safety practices. • Fun: Have fun and make the workplace a fun place to work Key Responsibilities: • Crew Care – Provide enough information and details so crews can complete a project in budget and on time. Discuss ongoing build with Production Manager if corrections are needed. • Design Care – Confirm measurements, plant lists, materials and quantities, etc. Go over quotes with Landscape Designer as needed to confirm details. • General - Office work (emails, job prep materials, locates) pick up materials & plants Education: Landscape Design – college level, Horticulture Technician, Landscape Industry Certified – Landscape Ontario Skills & Abilities: Advanced horticultural knowledge, typing, computer/technology knowledge, Driver’s license, landscape equipment knowledge, pruning knowledge, city knowledge (roadways, directions, locations, etc.), Landscape install experience & knowledge (min. 2 years), Dynascape experience Working conditions: 50% office, 50% field (rain or shine, snow or sleet).
