Process Engineer
We are recruiting for an immediate opportunity for a Process Engineer with a client in London, Ontario. The Process Engineer will contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality through the design and development of new technology and processes, equipment improvement, efficiency improvement projects, and start-up operations in the London facility. The Process Engineer will lead the design, installation and improvement of production processes and equipment, requiring the integration of people, equipment and materials.

We are recruiting for an immediate opportunity for a Process Engineer with a client in London, Ontario. The Process Engineer will contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality through the design and development of new technology and processes, equipment improvement, efficiency improvement projects, and start-up operations in the London facility. The Process Engineer will lead the design, installation and improvement of production processes and equipment, requiring the integration of people, equipment and materials.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage equipment and technology improvement projects to improve overall production costs, safety and environmental impact of our precursor and carbon fiber production
- Providing maintenance support in batch making area
- Design, recommend and establish project plans, strategies and resource requirements based on business plans
- Oversee the management of process improvements
- Monitor and ensure compliance with established technology and quality procedures, control changes to ensure consistency and share best practices
- Work with Research and Development regarding new products
- Prepare and present statistical analyses and reports related to process performance and improvements, work with Quality Control to resolve underlying technological causes of non-conform products and product inconsistencies, participate in audits as needed
- University degree required in Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 2 years of Manufacturing experience required,
- Experience within a chemical plant is an assett
