ECHO Power Equipment (Canada), a major distributor of outdoor power equipment across Canada is seeking a talented, team-oriented individual, dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and VIP Service to our dealers throughout Canada in the role of
Small Engine Technical Support
The formal title for this position is Technical Services Coordinator and is a full time position that is primarily responsible for providing technical support to our dealer network and the coordination of service school training across Canada, as well as on-going support to the customer service department.
Responsibilities Include:
· Provide excellent Technical Support to our customers across the country, follow up on dealer calls for troubleshooting and failure analysis on product and deliver prompt and efficient resolution of customer inquiries.
· Oversee the smooth processing of warranty claims and the appropriate supporting paperwork.
· Coordinate and perform Service School training (product knowledge, maintenance, assembly and marketing strategies) to our dealers and staff, including on-going support to the customer service department. Public speaking and out of Province travel will be required.
· Attend open houses and trade shows to represent the Technical Services Department and provide backup for the Applications Specialist when required.
· Maintain knowledge of the operation and maintenance of our product and warranty and provide outstanding customer service to our dealers.
· Other duties as assigned which may include some out-of-province travel.
Key Qualifications:
· Strong mechanical aptitude, primarily in 2 & 4 stroke technology.
· Post secondary education or equivalent work experience.
· Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive customer relationships.
· Adept with Windows applications including Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
· Strong presentation skills and comfortable with public speaking.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Willing and able to travel throughout Canada and USA.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
· Demonstrated commitment to excellence and life-long learning.
· Maintenance of a valid driver’s license, minimum class G (mandatory).
