Position: Bilingual (French) Consumer Services Representative

Location: London, Ontario

Columbia Sportswear Canada LP is seeking a Full-Time Bilingual Consumer Services Representative

Reporting to the Consumer Service Supervisor, the Consumer Services Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to non-retail clients. Duties include responding to consumer requests and inquiries via telephone, email and correspondence. Provide accurate information regarding product features, specifications and recommended uses for Columbia, Sorel, and Mountain Hardwear products. Guide consumers to where they can buy product using internal product locator applications. Provide suggestions for replacement styles using inventory management system as well as order entry and warranty repair status.

The successful candidate must possess knowledge of effective telephone customer service techniques and strategies and exceptional oral and written communication skills in both English and French, along with a high degree of accuracy. The candidate must be proficient in keyboard use and must have a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a calm demeanor.

A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service related position or call centre position is required. Experience in apparel and/or footwear preferred.

Must be fluent in French.
