Our client in London, Ontario is recruiting for a Senior Risk Manager to join their growing team. This position reports directly to the President of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as main point of Risk Management contact for a group of business units within the organization
• Lead and manage all aspects of certain insurance programs – Global Liability Program, Directors and Officers Insurance Program, etc.
• Provide day-to-day Risk Management advice including contract reviews; due diligence on new or divested operations; review and assist in drafting insurance wordings
• Identification and analysis of risk exposures, risk control and risk financing
• Manage quarterly/semi-annual business reviews with senior level executive clients
• Provide guidance and assistance on programs or projects to other team members as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years Risk Management/Commercial Insurance experience
• University Graduate with CIP, CRM or CAIB or working towards these accreditations
• RIBO Licence
• Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to develop cooperative working relationships with executive clients
• Team player with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation
• Ability to travel internationally
