Currently we have a vacancy for 1 year contract for a Full Time Team Leader who will provide exceptional leadership to a team of Insolvency Administrators. Working in collaboration with the Manager, Insolvency, this role is part of a team accountable for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual goals of the company. The Team Leader is responsible for achieving employee, customer, and shareholder satisfaction through effective people leadership and coaching. This role is critical in supporting the strategic activities of the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Appropriately resolve escalated Account concerns, and provide all necessary coaching and feedback to team members
- Implement quality assurance processes including Account Audits
- Design and coordinate training for new hires and upgrade training for existing employees
- Collect and analyze company and account data, providing recommendations to optimize operational efficiencies
- Be actively involved in problem solving and propose improvements to processes
- Provide input to annual performance reviews, and semi-annual incentive reviews, designing input to compliment operational goals and employee personal/professional development
- Develop, deliver and manage departmental action plans and employee performance improvement plans
- Promote teamwork and cooperation amongst team members and colleagues, having open communication in a feedback driven environment
- Ensure company policies and procedures are implemented and complied with at all times
- Influence an environment conducive to success, keeping motivation high by adapting leadership style to individual needs.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
- Minimum 5 year’s experience working in Insolvency preferably as a supervisor
- 2 years Supervisory experience – preferably in a financial or lending organization
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to excel within a goal driven environment
- Experience implementing process improvement
- Ability to analyze and interpret the data and offer the appropriate options, solutions and resolutions required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, adapting to the situational audience
- Flexibility with shifts in accordance with workload and hours of operation
