Agilus, has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst for our client, a leading multinational corporation operating in the fields of industrial, worker safety, health care, transportation and consumer goods. This is a one-year contract opportunity to showcase your strengths.

Role Overview:

 

The successful candidate will focus on maintaining high levels of customer service by managing forecasts, customer demand and inventory levels.  You will be responsible for procurements, inventory control and working as part of a cross functional team with focus on optimizing inventory investment and increasing inventory turns.  The successful candidate will also participate in the sales and operations planning process to maintain and grow the business, and concentrate on driving improvements through lean and six sigma processes.

 

Major Job Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare product demand forecasts for assigned product lines and customers using statistical forecasting systems/tools

  • Develop the aggregate demand plan and support assumptions of assigned product lines for the monthly sales and operations planning process

  • Measure and report forecast accuracy at customer, business, and product levels

  • Effectively manage inventory to provide high levels of customer service while also maximizing inventory turnover

  • Balance supply and demand to achieve the optimal balance of customer responsiveness and supply stability

  • Build strong business relationships with customers, supply chain partners, and business teams

  • Perform all supply planning for assigned product lines and issue purchase orders to intercompany suppliers and ensure timely delivery

  • Assist in the resolution of issues involving order promising, deviations to planned inventory levels, establishment and utilization of safety stock, and customer delivery difficulties

  • Expedite, prioritize production, and optimize inventory to ensure we meet or exceed stated customer service levels.

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements that improve service, speed or cost, through analysis of supply chain information and metrics

  • Recognizes impacts on related supply chain processes and ensures communication of issues and proposed solutions to appropriate business and process owners.

  • Decision-making involves understanding business/customer needs, identifying problem areas, analyzing supply chain parameters and working with management to support business strategies and customer needs
